Goodmorning

My last visiting place was kullu which is 40km away from manali, I spent awesome time there so I would like to tell YOU about nature’s beauty of kullu. In this summer if YOU are planning to move for Himachal Pradesh then YOU must visit the place of heaven on Earth called ‘KULLU’. It is  one of the most fabulous and demanded hill station by the tourist in india. I’m sure YOU will definitely love this place…

Kullu travel is the first choice of those who want to enjoy their holidays in “LAP OF MOTHER NATURE”. The small valley city, situated on the banks of River Beas, is blessed with abundant beauty of Mother Nature. During YOUR Kullu travel, YOU will definitely feel as if Mother Nature has gifted her entire beauty to this beautiful yet very small city. Apart from this a close proximity to the famous Indian Hill Station Manali.

Located at an elevation of 1,220 m above sea level, Kullu lies on the bank of River Beas and is a popular tourist destination. This town is also known as ‘Valley of Gods’, owing to the belief that it is the home of various Lords, Goddess and Sages. Sultanpur Palace, which is often known as Rupi Palace, is the main attraction of Kullu.

Raghunath Temple, which possesses an idol of Lord Rama brought from Ayodhya by Rajah Jagat Singh in the 17th century, is another major tourist attraction of the destination. Legend of broken Shiva Lingam into numerous pieces by thunder and lighting is one of the reasons behind the popularity of Bijli Mahadev Temple. Jagannathi Devi Temple and Basheshwar Mahadev Temple exemplify stone carving and Pahari architecture.

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Basheshwar Mahadev Temple is a 9th century temple, which is popular for its intricate stone carvings. Kaisdhar and Deo Tibba that are nestled amidst huge deodar trees can be trekked to reach a high-glaciated lake. The Great Himalayan National Park provides abode to more than 180 species of animals and mammals. Paintings and sculptures of the famous Russian artist, Nicholas Roerich, are housed in the Roerich Art Gallery. Raison is popular for its  large number of orchards.
