The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa in Manali was constructed in the year 1969. The architecture of the monastery represents the Tibetan style of architecture designed with hued frescoes. The statue of the Lord Buddha presides in the monastery. The Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa is situated near the market place in Manali. The architecture of this monastery replicates a more modern style than the earlier one. Placed in the midst of sunflowers, the monastery glows at night with light bulbs lit to lighten it up. The huge gold faced statue of Lord Buddha presides over the monastery.

Naggar is also famous for its flower garden which symbolizes the art of famous painter Prof. Nicholas Roerich.Our Team is really enjoying this journey.It's really one of the ttradition n cultural place. The picturesque views of the works of the Himalayan peaks in the colours of sky with blue, pink and orange create a very pleasant atmosphere. Naggar has some old temples scattered about its slopes. The 11th century sandstone Gaurishankar temple in Naggar is located near the market while the Chaturbhuj temple in Naggar to Vishnu is near the castle. Higher up the hill is the Tripura Sundari temple built in the Himachal style with a multi-level roof. It is a very nice place. everyone must come here to experience the real beauty of Himachal Pradesh.

T.Manikaran is located in the Parvati Valley between the rivers Beas and Parvati, northeast of Bhuntar in the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh.
The legend of Manikaran states that while roaming around, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, once chanced upon a place that was surrounded by mountains and was lush green. Enamoured by the beauty of the place, they decided to spend some time there. It is believed that they actually spent eleven hundred years here.
During their stay here, Goddess Parvati lost her mani in the waters of a stream. Upset over the loss, she asked Shiva to retrieve it. Lord Shiva commanded his attendant to find out the mani for Parvati, however, when they failed, he was extremely angry. He opened his third eye, a tremendously inauspicious event which led to disturbances in the universe. An appeal was made before the serpent god, Sheshnag, to pacify Lord Shiva. Sheshnag hissed thereby giving rise to a flow of boiling water. The water spread over the entire area resulting in the emergence of precious stones of the type Goddess Parvati had lost. Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati were happy at the outcome.

 The water is still hot and is considered extremely auspicious. A pilgrimage to this place is thought of as complete. It is also believed that there is no need to pay a visit to Kashi after visiting this place. The water of the spring is also supposed to have curative powers. The water is so hot that rice can be cooked in it.

Kasol is a village situated in Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River, on the way between Bhuntar to Manikaran in Himachal Pradesh, northern India. It is located 42 km east of Kullu at the height of 1640 meters. Kasol is partitioned into Old Kasol and New Kasol on the either side of the bridge.
Kasol has recently transformed into a hub for backpackers, who are attracted to the scenic valley, untouched hills, low population, and great climate throughout the year. Kasol is also a base for Trekking in the area, to Sar Pass, Yanker Pass, Pin Parbati Pass and Khiriganga. Some Psychedelic Trance parties are also common in Kasol, due to the heavy rush of the visitors.
The shops in the village of Kasol have western food and clothes. There is only one school which has classes up to 7th grade. The nearest college is in Kullu. People in the village also grow a few vegetables and sell it. There are many restaurants on the both sides of the main road of Kasol along with Foreign Money Exchange. The nearest ATM is within 25 km at Jhari while all other facilities are available at Bhuntar. Plenty of guest houses and hotels are available at quite cheap tariffs. Bhuntar is the nearest airport which also has a couple of banks and ATM centres.

Malana has a history and it goes back to Jamlu rishi  who inhabited this place and made rules and regulations. It is one of the oldest democracies of the world with a well organized parliamentary system. All of this is guided by the their devta Jamlu rishi.Although Jamlu is currently identified with a sage from the Puranas, this is a relatively recent development. Jamlu is believed to have been worshipped in pre-Aryan times. Penelope Chetwood recounts a tale about an orthodox Brahmin priest, who visited Malana, and tried to educate the locals about the pedigree of their god, and what subsequently befell the hapless priest.
Malana is considered to be one of the first democracies in the world. According to tradition, the residents of Malana are the descendant of Aryans[citation needed], and they acquired their independence during the Mughal reign when the Emperor Akbar walked to the village in order to cure an ailment that he was afflicted with[citation needed]; after having been successfully cured he put out an edict stating that all the inhabitants of the valley would never be required to pay tax. An alternative tradition suggests that Malana was founded by remnants of Alexander the Great's Army.
A dam project, the Malana Hydro Power Station, has brought Malana much closer to the rest of the world and provides revenue for the region. A new road has shortened the walking time from several days to just 4 hours. The Hydro Malana Project has also ruined the beauty of the valley.

It is situated on a remote plateau by the side of the torrential Malana river, at a height of 3,029 metres (9,938 ft) above sea level. Unaffected by modern civilisation, Malana has its own lifestyle and social structure. People are strict in following their customs. Malana has been the subject of various documentaries, including Malana: Globalization of a Himalayan Village,and Malana, A Lost Identity. The existing speakers of the autochthonous language Kanashi, the traditional language of the inhabitants of Malana, number approximately 1700. According to the 1961 census, the language speakers were then 563, but today the population of Malana is at least three times as large as 40 years ago.

Men of the Kinnaur community take care of the cattle while women folk handle the household chores and bring the kids up. The Gujjars of Manali are chiefly hunters and they move from one place to another in search of food and game. The tribes of Manali follow the Totemic religion and worship nature.

Manali follow the Totemic religion and worship nature. They also undertake various religious ceremonies to please the Gods and Goddesses related to nature, but recently some of the tribes have turned to idol worship as well.
The traditional attire of the men of Manali is a dress named ‘Sultan’ that is worn at the lower part of the body which is tightened with a belt called ‘Dora’. The upper part of the body is covered with a long over coat called ‘Chola’ and the head is covered with a black turban called ‘Topa’. During winter a traditional shawl called ‘Chadder’ and a blanket known as ‘Lachhoo’ is used to save themselves from cold. A long shawl called ‘Pattoo’ is worn by women and they cover their head with ‘Dhatu’ or ‘Thipu’. The woolen slippers especially worn in winter are known as ‘Pullas’. The traditional outfit of Manali people is mostly hand woven in very attractive and eloquent colors.
The culture of Manali is marked with their bequest of folk songs and folk dances particularly performed at the time of tribal festivals. The songs sung by men and women together are mostly based on the various folk lores, gallantry of Kings, beauty of Queens and their life experiences. Some of the folk dances of Manali named Naati, Kayang, Karthi, Bakayang etc. are performed with the background music of traditional musical instruments. Naati is performed at the time of almost all the traditional festivals while other dance forms are performed at particular occasions. For example ‘Karthi’ dance is enjoyed at the time of Harvest Festival. The natives of Manali are expert in various traditional crafts like handloom, metal crafts, wood crafts, drift wood, Tibetan crafts, pottery, cane crafts, hand knit woolen clothes, gift items, etc.
